Material shall be the best quality, cold rolled, mild annealed, sheet steel free from buckle, loose scale or other surface imperfections. All steel parts shall be thoroughly cleaned before finish is applied. Finish shall be baked on at a temperature not less than 300 degree fahrenheit and must withstand rigid hammer test without flaking. Tops shall have attachment angles of 14 gauge steel, one each end of bench, thereby closing spaces at ends between top and bench legs. The adjustable foot is a channel made of 14 gauge steel and out of one continuous piece. The channel is punched with 12 holes on 1" increments for adjustment purposes.The bottom of the channel is formed and punched to add a leveling foot if desired by means of nut and bolt. Overall height of channel is 12-1/2" high. The channel is inserted into the bottom of the workbench leg and secured with nuts and bolts. Adjustability is performed by loosening nuts and bolts and repositioning to desired hole location on 1" centers. Stringer shall not be less than 18 gauge steel, channel type, not less than 5" wide, and punched for attachment to rear legs to insure rigidity. Shelves shall be 16 gauge steel x 13-1/4" d, punched for bolting to rear of leg and to the bottom cross channel. Top of shelf to be 1-1/2" above bottom cross channel.
