Jet has developed this clever downdraft-style table so that sanding projects can be tackled safely and comfortably without obstructing your movement. While a work piece is sanded on the 72-hole stabilizing board, dust is efficiently vented downward through a dust port that resides below the board, so cleanup is achieved while you work. Plus, it ensures less risk of inhaling potentially harmful airborne dust and chip particles. The dust port has a standard four-inch diameter and connects to most dust collection systems.

Removable Legs and Large Surface for Versatility
Equipped with a set of removable legs, the table can either attach to your table saw or stand on its own, letting you choose the most convenient setting. The versatile design means you can count on the table for a wide variety of sanding needs.

Designed to maximize space, the table provides an ample 36 x 30-inch (LxW) work surface and fits neatly with an XACTA or ProShop saw extension table, so you enjoy premium functionality in your shop environment.

While this JET saw beats its closest competitor on price, it also offers some advantages in terms of design and construction. Placing the quick-connect electrical plug right at the saw so the user doesn't have to search out the wall socket for every blade change is just one small example of JET's attention to detail. The stand for this saw is made of a heavy-gauge metal, and features a hinged motor cover and a 4- inch dust port for easy connection to a dust-collection system. A change in the hole pattern on the fence rails means lefties can shift the set up to their preference. The left-tilting arbor is another mark in this saw's favor. Tilting the blade away from the fence negates the need for a sacrificial fence and reduces the risk of the piece binding under the blade. This saw's most impressive feature is the smooth action of the blade height-adjustment mechanism.
